Divine Liturgy On Feast Of Vartanants

The Rev. Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan was the celebrant priest at St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral on Thursday, February 8, 2018. In his homily, Fr. Nerses reflected on the importance of strengthening the foundation of our ancestral faith in the hearts of the youth. The vitality of the preservation of the traditional Christian values was stressed in the homily of the young priest.  

Led by the Primate, Prayers for Pontifical Service (Hayrabedagan Maghtank) was held at the during the Divine Liturgy. Traditional hymns and songs in memory of St. Vartan and his Companions were sung by clergy and faithful alike.
