On March 18, 2018, the faithful of St. Garabed Armenian Church of the Desert received the blessings of the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian. The pastoral visit of His Eminence was the first of the year to the parish in Rancho Mirage.
Archbishop Derderian delivered the homily on Sunday of the Advent calling upon the faithful to solidify their spiritual bond with Christ, our Lord through prayer, the preservation of Christian values and the performance of noble deeds for the glory of God.
At the conclusion of the service, Archbishop Derderian presided over the Parish Assembly.
