Members of Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center’s administrative staff, doctors, nurses and patients alike took part in this year’s Good Friday service presided by Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian.
Accompanying the Primate was Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Rev. Cassie McCarty, Director of Glendale Memorial Hospital’s Mission Integration and Spiritual Care Services. Among the dignitaries in attendance were Glendale Mayor Vartan Gharpetian and Glendale City Councilmember Paula Devine. A group of over 30 administrators, doctors, and patients participated in the service.
After explaining the significance of the day in Christendom and delivering the day’s spiritual message, the Primate visited patients and prayed for their health and recovery.
