Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School Students Visit The Western Diocese

Led by their teachers, the students of Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School visited the Western Diocese on Monday, April 16, 2018.

They were led on a tour of St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral and the Zorayan Museum located in the lower gallery of the Western Diocese and the Western Diocese Turpanjian Diocesan Building by Mr. Hayk Madoyan.

Welcoming the students, Archbishop Derderian addressed the topic of solidifying the connection with Christ, our Lord through a prayerful life.

“It is our responsibility as Christians to strengthen the core of our relationship with Christ. Our ancestral Christian Faith, which is manifested in prayer, adherence to the Word of God and His teachings and the execution of noble deeds is the ultimate guide in our God-given lives,” said the Primate.

Archbishop Derderian also called upon the students to follow in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to uphold His sacred teachings.

Prior to departure, the students were treated to a pizza lunch.
