Memorial Day is a sacred day in our God-given lives. It is the day when we remember in our prayers, the souls of our soldiers who, for our sake and for the sake of freedom, fought and sacrificed their lives. Prayer leads us in a very thoughtful way to value the ultimate sacrifice of our soldiers who gave it their all. This is the blessed day when we pose for a moment to honor the memory of our soldiers and relive their vision of freedom. Truly, the words of the proverbs echoes in my heart: “Where there is no vision, people perish…” (Proverbs 29:18). If I were to put this statement it in my own words, I would say “where there is no vision, people are born dead.”
Our revered soldiers live in eternity for they lived their lives in sacrifice with the legacy of freedom.
Happy Memorial Day!
