Mothers’ Day Luncheon At St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Church Of Pasadena

Under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America and Mexico, the Ladies Society of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Pasadena hosted a Mothers’ Day Luncheon on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

Held at the Geragos Hall, the event also included a fashion show modeled by the ladies of the St. Gregory parish. The Rev. Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan represented the Primate at the event. In his remarks, Fr. Nerses stressed the essential role of mothers in cultivating the Armenian Christian identity in the hearts of the youth as well as the noble mission of the Ladies Society in the overall advancement in the Armenian Apostolic Church.

During the event, Christine Abadjian, Annette Kosker, Seta Matossian, Hilda Gourdikian, Salpi Mankerian, and Lucine Nazerian were honored as the Women of the Year.
