St. James Armenian Church To Hold Annual Armenian Festival On September 9Th

ST. JAMES ARMENIAN CHURCH TO HOLD ANNUAL ARMENIAN FESTIVAL ON SEPTEMBER 9TH

It’s an easy drive to the corner of Slauson Avenue and LaTiera Boulevard  to join in the Annual Armenian Festival of St. James Armenian Church.  On Sunday, September 9, all  freeways, roads and streets  pave the way to an afternoon of complete fun, relaxation and enjoyment.  The festival will be held on the church grounds from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Steve Chelebian, Chair of the Festival Committee,  reports that the committee has been organizing and planning this event for many months and have prepared an afternoon featuring traditional Armenian Food and Pastries, Music, Dancing, Games for all ages, and a raffle offering cash prizes.  “Our Annual Festival continues to be one of the highlights of our calendar year, bringing together families, friends, neighbors, young and old, for an afternoon of great  fun and enjoyment.  Live Armenian music will be performed for everyone’s listening and dancing pleasure by the Oasis Band.  There will be activities for all ages, including our fabulous play area and games for children under 12 for their entertainment and amusement.”

Rev. Fr. Haroutioun Tachejian, Parish Priest, looks forward to welcoming and greeting everyone.  The Festival includes the involvement of all the church organizations, working together, to continue to contribute to the success of St. James Armenian Church’s Annual Festival.

As always, admission and parking are free.  Credit cards are acceptable.  Sponsorships and raffle tickets are available by calling the church office (323) 295-4588.
