Diocesan Delegation Pays First Official Visit To The Armenian Consulate General

On November 15, 2018, the Primate, accompanied by Diocesan clergy, Diocesan Council Chairman Joseph Kanimian, Esq., Diocesan Council member Mr. Derik Ghookasian, and Mr. Vartan Nazerian, paid an official visit to the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia.

The Diocesan delegation met with Consul General His Excellency Armen Baibourtian and the collaboration between the two institutions were discussed. In his remarks, Archbishop Derderian reflected on the long standing relationship between the Diocese and the Consulate General. The Primate congratulated Consul General Baibourtian on his appointment and wished him well in his diplomatic career.
