Diramayr Anne Movsesian Laid To Rest

Diramayr Anne Movsesian, who served as Executive Secretary in the Western Diocese from 1978 to 2005, passed away on November 28, 2018 in Pasadena, California surrounded by her family.

At the funeral service officiated by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, and with the participation of 15 of the Diocesan clergy, Diramayr was eulogized for her kind mannerism and humble Christian life. Archbishop Hovnan spoke in a moving and stirring manner about Diramayr's contributions to the building of the Western Diocese and the Cathedral. At the conclusion of the service he invited the clergy and congregation to sing a heartfelt rendition of the hymn "Govya Yerousaghem" to accent the theme of Christian victory with her life.
