Armenian School Students Receive Holy Communion

The Diocesan tradition of visiting Armenian Schools to bring the Good News to the youth continues. On March 18, 2016, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan, paid a pastoral visit AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian School. In his message to the students, Archbishop Derderian conveyed the significance of spiritual renewal through the Victorious Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Primate's homily was followed by the distribution of Holy Communion to the students and the administration.

On the same day, the Very Fr. Pagrad Bourjekian, Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan and Deacon Artak Khachikyan visited students at Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church in Pasadena. After inspirational homilies from the clergy, the students received Holy Communion.

Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirdjian and the Rev. Fr. Serovbe Alanjian visited AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in Canoga Park on the morning of March 18, 2016. The clergy delivered spiritual messages on the blessed occasion of the Feast of the Holy Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Holy Communion was distributed to the students and the staff alike.
