Diocese Bids Farewell To Very Rev. Fr. Sooren Chinchinian

It is with deep regret and sorrow that we inform the passing of the Very Rev. Fr. Sooren Chinchinian who entered his eternal rest on April 18, 2019. Presided by the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and with the participation of Diocesan clergy, the funeral service of the late clergyman was held at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

The Very Rev. Fr. Sooren Chinchinian, the long-time servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born on April 10, 1933, in Zohle, Lebanon, and was christened Bedros by his parents Dikran and Terfunda Chinchinian. Click here to read Fr. Sooren’s obituary.
