On Friday, May 17, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian travelled to New York where on May 18, a special Divine Liturgy at St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral will honor the return of the Primate of the Eastern Diocese to the U.S., following his ordination last week as a bishop of the Armenian Church, by the hand of Catholicos Karekin II.
On Saturday, May 18, the newly-ordained Bishop Daniel Findikyan will celebrate his first episcopal Divine Liturgy among the faithful of the Eastern Diocese, at the New York cathedral.
A live broadcast of the service will be available online, beginning at 10 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) on Saturday, May 18. The broadcast will be archived for later viewing.
