On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, the newly appointed Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles, His Excellency Akira Muto, accompanied by H.E. Consul Shigeru Kikuma and Consular Advisor Jennifer Usyak, paid a courtesy visit to the Western Diocese.
The dignitaries met with the Diocesan Primate His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and discussed the details of the upcoming event dedicated to Diana Apcar scheduled to be held on Tuesday, September 17th. The Rev. Fr. Yeghia Isayan, Pastor of St. Peter Armenian Church of Glendale and Dn. Harout Markarian, Executive Director of the Western Diocese also participated in the meeting.
