The new school year at Seta Tajirian Armenian Saturday School of Saint Geragos Armenian Apostolic Church of Las Vegas began on Saturday, August 31, 2019. First day of school was an exciting day for the 72 registered children who came to renew their friendship and greet new students at their beloved School. After a short prayer session in the Sanctuary the Children went to their classes to meet their able teachers and take their first steps of learning Armenian language. At the breaks the children enjoyed playing on Soccer field and the new huge playground dedicated in loving memory of Ani McTarian.
The Principal and the teachers of the Armenian Saturday School are looking forward to working with the kids and teaching them the Armenian language read and write and also our culture and history. We are also looking forward to register more students in the coming weeks.
