The 12th annual dinner-dance of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Ventura County, sponsored by the Ladies’ Society, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the North Ranch Country Club, 4161 Valley Spring Drive, Westlake Village.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the event will feature a silent auction, a delicious dinner and musical entertainment for dancing by Greg Hosharian Brothers Band. Proceeds from the event will support the mission of the church including Sunday school, Armenian language classes, cultural heritage and fellowship.
Event sponsorships are now being offered to businesses and individuals at $100 to $1,000. Items for the auction are also being collected. Tickets to the event are available from $100 for adults and $60 for children 12 and under.
Co-chairing this year’s dinner-dance are Patricia Adrian, Lucille Farsakian and Nora Sahagian. To become a sponsor, make an auction donation or for further information and reservations, contact Sahagian at (805) 379-5928 or bpmnora@aol.com. Deadline for reservations is Saturday, Oct. 12.
Established in the fall of 2007, the Armenian Apostolic Church of Ventura County holds services on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Thousand Oaks.
