The ACYO Central Council led the second round of regional meetings in California this past weekend. On Friday, September 20, St. John Armenian Church of San Francisco hosted youth from the northern region. Chapters developed short and long-term goals and participated in a guided spiritual reflection. This was followed by an overnight lock-in retreat in the sanctuary.
On Saturday, September 21, the ACYO Central Council led the Central regional meeting at St. Mary Armenian Church in Yettem which was followed by Family Game Night hosted by the St. Mary Yettem ACYO chapter.
On Sunday, September 22, the southern regional meeting was held at St. Peter Armenian Church of Van Nuys. During this meeting, the youth discussed faith and priorities in our lives.
Tha ACYO Central Council thanks the Rev. Fr. Matthew Ash, Dn. Charles Cherezian, the Rev. Fr. Zaven Markosyan, Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian and the ACYO chapters of San Francisco, Yettem and Van Nuys for their warm welcome and hospitality.
The Central Council works tirelessly to bring these events to our member chapters. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our Membership and Diocese and were very pleased with the turnouts at our regional meetings. We look forward to seeing all who participated again as well as all who wish to join us at our future events!

The ACYO Central Council of the Western Diocese is comprised of the following elected individuals: Chairperson Nataline Jindoian, Vice Chairperson Gayana Parsegova, Treasurer Sevan Jindoian, Publicity Director Kevin Kestekyan, Recording Secretary Alen Ashikian, Corresponding Secretary David Safrazian, and Advisor Victoria Amran.
