Last Sunday, the Saturday School students of St. Sarkis Armenian Church of Santa Clarita enthralled their audience by performing joyful Christmas songs and presenting through recitation (Gospel according to St. Luke) the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Christmas spirit was alive in the sanctuary as the angelic voices of the children rejoiced in the birth of the Messiah.

The Rev. Fr. Serovbe Alanjian, Parish Priest, commended the students for their exceptional presentation, exhorting the young generation to preserve and uphold the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to cherish the sacred traditions of the Armenian Church which we commonly hold in reverence. Father Serovbe also expressed his wholehearted gratitude to the teachers for their immense role of instilling in the hearts of the youth the love for Christ, our Lord and our rich Christian heritage.
