On January 19, a luncheon reception honoring the visiting Armenian delegation from Yerevan State University was held at the Melikian Hall of St. Apkar Armenian Church of Scottsdale. Headed by academician Dr. Gegham Gevorgyan- Rector, Alexander Markarov - YSU deputy rector and Dr. Vahan Aglyan- Director designate, YSU American studies center.
Luncheon was sponsored by Arizona State University Melikian Center – Russian, Eurasian and East European studies.
Arizona State University and St. Apkar Armenian Church are grateful to the organizers of the event led by Ramona Melikian–President of the advisory board of Melikian Center.
