Earlier this month, the Armenian Church observed the Feast of St. Sarkis the Warrior. At Holy Resurrection Armenian Church of Seattle, more than 30 youth members participated in a fellowship led by the Rev. Fr. Vazgen Boyajyan, the Parish Priest. The social gathering was aimed at highlighting the significance of the life of St. Sarkis, the revered martyr and military saint in the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The youth received the pastor’s blessings and departed with a salted cookie, an established Armenian tradition that dates back centuries.
