Life On Eggshells

Life on eggshells

As we all look at our surroundings, we then clearly see that people are living a life “on eggshells.” The reason for this new reality is obviously the uncontrolled spread of COVID19, which has threatened the lives of humanity. The acceleration of the new behavior of lifestyle will certainly impact the perception of life in general. What I also have witnessed is that under the circumstances not taking into account the exceptions, most people are turning to God and adopting a new approach toward life.

“Life on eggshells.” Is this a pattern of life justified? I would say that in one way being cautious and following the directives of both civic and religious leaders is vital, yet on the other hand, I would hope and expect that whence we are no longer threatened by the COVID 19, we continue to live “a life on eggshells.” What I mean in saying so, is that we set a new journey of life abandoning all acts which harm the beauty of the world and reclaiming the God-pleasing conduct of life.

God has graced us all with the free will. However, God never meant to abuse the trust which the Almighty put in us. I believe firmly that this time of stay home should be plateau of spiritual transformation. Generations will then read one of the darkest pages of human history, yet the same history with radiate the spark of New life with God.

Almighty God, each time I utter words of prayer, I relieve the journey of New Life. As I walk with You, my life is luminous and peaceful, but above all, I am graced with spiritual rebirth. As I look at people and into the depth of their hearts, I see Your divine image, the journey of Your sacrificial life. Then I make the commitment to attain humility in my spiritual being.
