Beloved faithful in Christ,
We write this letter bearing in mind the message in the First Letter of St. John “No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us” (1 John 4:12).
In these days of uncertainty, world community ought to vividly express its love for God. If we heed to the words of St. John and love one another with the divine love of God, we shall overcome all challenges before us.
In this Eastertide, from a human standpoint, our hearts may be saddened. However, we are not frail in our ancestral Christian Faith. Collectively, we shall endure these trying times and shall weather the storm bearing in our hearts the firm belief in Christ’s calming of the storm. We are indeed saddened because we are unable to share the ceremonial Holy Week traditions with the flock of Christ. However, we shall be emerge victorious, for our life’s journey has been the path of the Victorious Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Christian Faith of our forefathers shall be exemplified in our courage, our indomitable spirit, and our resilience, for we owe it to the memory of our martyred and sanctified ancestors.
Remember, you are in our prayers. Beloved Brothers in Christ, preaching the Word of God is your spiritual armor and the praying flock of Christ shall become your disciples.
Beloved,
We greet you with the divine greeting of our Resurrected Lord.
“Christ is risen from the dead!
Blessed is the Resurrection of Christ!”
With love and blessings,
Prayerfully,
Archbishop Hovnan Derderian
Primate
