Earlier this week, the Agape Circle of the Western Diocese held a video conference meeting during which the adoption of a new humanitarian outreach mission was discussed. At the Primate’s initiative, the ladies of the Agape Circle will take part in a noble endeavor of supporting the expansion mission of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center through various fundraising efforts.
“Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is the sole hospital in the City of Burbank. We feel it worthwhile to support the Medical Center’s God-pleasing mission as it provides the people in our community the best possible care, tending to their every physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs,” said the Diocesan Primate.
The Primate praised the ladies for their outstanding service rendered to the community. Agape Circle’s newest mission will be officially introduced by the Diocesan Primate during the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral on Sunday, August 16, 2020, the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God.
