Catholicos Of All Armenians Holds Video Conference Meeting With Primates Of North America

On August 3, 2020, His H. Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, had a video conference meeting with the three Primates of the Dioceses of the Armenian Church of North America. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, His Grace Bishop Daniel Findikyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America and His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Canada took part in the meeting.

Information about the state of each diocese was exchanged. The spiritual leaders also shared concerns for the Church in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. In turn, the Catholicos of All Armenians shared his concerns for the welfare of Armenia in light of recent military aggression by the neighboring Azeri forces. All three Primates shared the same concern as they deliberated action for the coming months.

His Holiness shared with his brothers in Christ the humanitarian, educational and cultural missions being realized by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, citing that the Armenian Apostolic Church will continue to carry out its mission of leading the flock of Christ, our Lord, on the path to righteousness.
