Primates Of North America Hold Video Conference Meeting

His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Canada, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America and His Grace Bishop Daniel Findikyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America participated in a video conference meeting on Friday, August 14, 2020. 

The main topics of discussion were the situation in Lebanon and the humanitarian efforts being realized by each Diocese. The Primates shared ways by which each Diocese copes with the ramifications of the ongoing pandemic and its direct effect on church life. The third topic included general concerns over current developments in Armenia. 

Information about the current state of each respective diocese was also discussed by the high-ranking clergymen of the Armenian Church. Thoughts and ideas were exchanged in respect to the continuity of the mission of the Armenian Apostolic Church within the religious, liturgical, cultural, and educational spheres.
