Western Diocese Partners with Providence St. Joseph Medical Center on Emergency Services Minutes Matter Campaign 

The Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America has partnered with Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center on the Emergency Services Minutes Matter Campaign. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian has led the formation of the Friends of Providence Saint Joseph Circle which includes honorary physicians Drs. Shahan and Stephen Yacoubian, Raffi Mesrobian and other Armenian community leaders. With this partnership, during a meeting at the Diocesan Headquarters in Burbank on Wednesday, August 26, Archbishop Derderian signed a pledge for a multi-year philanthropic commitment to help Providence Saint Joseph build a new state-of-the-art emergency department and urgent care facility by 2022.

Present at the meeting were Kelly M. Linden, Chief Executive of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center; Michael and Kathy Hastings, Burbank Committee Co-Chairs of the Emergency Services Campaign and Providence Saint Joseph Board of Governor member; Kirsten Holguin, Communications Director; Michelle Foley, Communications Coordinator and Angela Khurdajian, Philanthropy Officer at Providence Saint Joseph Foundation; Mr. Derik Ghookasian, Vice-Chair of the Diocesan Council and Harout Markarian, Executive Director of the Western Diocese.
