The purpose of the newsletter is to keep you informed of the progress we are making on the construction of the church campus, and updated on our fundraising efforts to reach our goal to complete this God-pleasing endeavor. We are on this noble journey together and encourage you to get involved, get engaged, and get ready to move to Del Mar.
Raising the Walls . Progress on our new church is advancing very well. We poured the concrete for all the walls on November 23, and again on December 1 and 2. The crane is set to stand the walls up on December 11, 14, 15, and 16. By December 16, all the walls of our church will be up, and you will be able to see firsthand our beautiful new sanctuary. Work will then begin immediately on constructing the roof. By the end of January, the exterior of our church will be complete and work will begin on the interior.
Design Subcommittee . For the past five months, a design subcommittee, selected by the Building Committee, has been meeting weekly to select products, vendors, and suppliers for the church's interior. They are discussing and deciding on items such as the altar, entry doors, stained glass windows, pews, flooring, acoustical paneling, colors, baptismal font, candle/prayer room, choir mezzanine, light fixtures, priest's office, bride's room, artwork, audio-visual, railings, belfry, and so much more. It is a monumental task for which these dedicated volunteers deserve much gratitude. They are doing an amazing job ensuring that our Church will be beautiful, tastefully done with dignity, while honoring on our Christian heritage and spirituality.
Current Financial Need . In order to furnish our new Church as indicated, it will require the financial support from everyone wishing to be a part of this historic project. We currently need $1,000,000 to complete the 2nd phase of construction and guarantee that our doors will open next summer.

Soon a booklet will be made available showing the naming sponsorships opportunities for a variety of special items, including the magnificent altar, the baptismal font, stained glass windows, altar crosses, candlesticks and much more.
