Western Diocese Transfers Raises and Transfers Nearly $1.3 Million to Hayastan All Armenian Fund from October 23 to December 1

We were united in prayer, beseeching the Almighty God to lead our valiant soldiers with the power of the Holy Cross. We were united in the staunch belief of preserving the rich heritage bequeathed upon us by our ancestors and passing it on to the young generation. Undoubtedly, each of us is a partaker in that noble mission.

As of October 23, 2020, the contributions of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, the reverend clergy, the Diocesan parishes that have been transferred to Armenia Fund totaled more than $2.388 million.

The fundraising efforts continued with tens of humanitarian programs coming to fruition. All incoming funds were transferred directly to the Hayastan All Armenian Fund.

Heeding the call of the Western Diocese, donations and pledges were made by numerous individuals directly to Armenia Fund, as has been community-wide practice since the inception of the Armenia Fund.

We are pleased to inform that from October 23 through December 1, through the efforts of the Diocesan Primate, the reverend Diocesan clergy and Diocesan organizations, another $1, 297,006 was raised and transferred to Hayastan All Armenian Fund.

The fundraising missions continue as massive work is yet to be done. The number of displaced individuals as a result of the war numbers tens of thousands. In the words of the Diocesan Primate, "Today, our existence is at stake. As our young soldiers sacrifice their lives, we must stand strong and united. Furthermore, the source of our strength is within each of our hearts."

We rest assured that our collective efforts will be worthwhile to ensure that the wounds of our people are healed and by the grace of God, together we will embark on a journey of progress.
