The Armenian American Medical Society celebrated its 30th anniversary with a gala banquet on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health and Haroutune K. Armenian MD, MPH, Dr.P.H. were honored by the AAMS for their years of dedicated service and tremendous contributions to medicine and mankind.
The Very Rev. Fr. Pakrad Berjekian attended the gala event on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, the Diocesan Primate. Delivering the benediction, Father Pakrad congratulated the organizers wishing the AAMS continued success in its noble humanitarian endeavors.
Proceeds from the AAMS gala benefited the health care needs of Syrian Armenian refugees.
