Godfathers And Benefactors Celebrated At The Hampar Residence

During the evening His Eminence honored Diocesan pillars, namely, Mr. and Mrs. Armen and Nora Hampar and Mr. and Mrs. Antranik and Virginia Zorayan. As a token of his immense gratitude and in recognition of the esteemed couples’ boundless generosity, Archbishop Derderian presented artistic sketches of the sermon book of Mush, the largest manuscript of the Armenian Church as well as a sketch portraying Movses of Khorene, the most prominent Armenian historian to Mr. Hampar and Mr. Zorayan, respectively.
 
The Primate also expressed his gratitude to the members of the Reception Organizing Committee including Mr. and Mrs. Armen and Nora Hampar, Mr. and Mrs. Nazareth and Alice Chakrian, Mr. and Mrs. Mardiros and Ani Oruncakciel, Mr. and Mrs. Vartan and Silvana Vartanian and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Ani Hartoonian for exceptionally organizing the event.

The highlight of the evening came when His Eminence announced the pledges of new Godfathers of St. Leon (Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral.
 
The guests watched a video presentation of the numerous past and current Diocesan projects achieved during the Primacy of Archbishop Hovnan Derderian.
