Last week we reported that the Rev. Fr. Serovbe Alanjian has been appointed by the Primate as the Pastor of St. Sarkis Armenian Church of Santa Clarita. Father Serovbe will assume his pastoral role at St. Sarkis Armenian Church effective July 1, 2016. On May 24, Archbishop Derderian and Father Serovbe met with the Parish Council of the Armenian Church of Ventura County. During the meeting, the Primate informed the members of the Parish Council about Father Serovbe's new pastoral assignment.Â
In the evening, the Primate officially introduced Father Alanjian to the members of the Parish Council of St. Sarkis Armenian Church during a meeting held at the Diocesan Headquarters. Father Serovbe expressed his gratitude to the Primate for his guidance and support throughout the years and pledged to continue to serve the flock of Christ entrusted to him with a renewed sense of dedication and zeal.
