Primate Of The Diocese Of Brazil Visits The Western Diocese

Last week, His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh and His Eminence Archbishop Vicken Aykazian, Legate of the Eastern Diocese in Washington DC, visited the Western Diocese visited the Western Diocese. Archbishop Martirosyan was the celebrant at St. Leon (Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral on May 22, 2016. Archbishop Aykazian, who participated in an ecumenical event hosted by the United Methodist Church also took part in the AJC/Western Diocese meeting on May 18, 2016.
 
On May 25, His Grace Bishop Nareg Berberian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church in Brazil, visited the Western Diocese and met with the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian. Bishop Berberian informed the Primate about the Armenian-Brazilian community of Sao Paolo as well as the current missions and projects undertaking by the Diocese of Brazil. In turn, Archbishop Derderian expressed cordial wishes to Bishop Derderian conveying to the high-ranking clergyman continued success in his pastoral ministry.
