On Saturday, September 13, the Holy Resurrection Armenian Church of Seattle joyfully celebrated its 8th Annual Festival, bringing together parishioners, friends, and members of the broader community for a day filled with faith, culture, and fellowship.

The program opened with welcoming remarks by Mr. Armen Papyan, Master of Ceremonies, who read a congratulatory letter from Congresswoman Suzan K. DelBene, extending her warmest wishes to the Armenian community. Mr. Papyan then invited Rev. Fr. Vazgen Boyajyan for the opening prayer. In his message, Fr. Vazgen expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, participants, and volunteers, encouraging everyone to continue preserving and celebrating Armenian faith, heritage, and culture in the diaspora.

During the festival, Mr. Papyan also acknowledged the presence of distinguished guests: Mr. Naren Brian, candidate for Bellevue City Council, and Mr. Jared Nieuwenhuis, Bellevue City Councilmember, who both offered their words of congratulations and support to the Armenian community.

The celebration featured a vibrant cultural program with Armenian songs and dances performed by talented local artists, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of traditional Armenian cuisine. The joyful atmosphere of the festival brought together young and old, strengthening bonds within the community.
We extend our deepest thanks to all volunteers, organizers, and participants whose dedication made this year’s festival a great success. May we continue to preserve and pass on our Armenian traditions for generations to come.
