2025-2026 Academic Year Begins for Armenian School Students of Holy Resurrection Armenian Church

The Armenian School of Holy Resurrection Armenian Church of Seattle has opened its doors for the new academic year school year. Last Sunday, the students took a meaningful step together as they visited the church to receive blessings from the pastor Archpriest Fr. Vazgen Boyajyan.

He welcomed the children with his usual warmth, reminding them that even far from their homeland, having an Armenian school is a precious gift. Fr. Vazgen also shared with the children the story of the Varaga Khach (Holy Cross of Varag). This cross, discovered on Mount Varag, has long been a symbol of protection, faith, and hope for Armenians everywhere.

After noting the importance of keeping our language, culture, and faith alive here in Seattle, Fr. Vazgen thanked our devoted teacher-volunteers, whose love and dedication make this school possible, and wished all the children a successful year ahead.
