Acyo Central Council Meeting Convenes At The Western Diocese

The last ACYO Central Council meeting of 2015 was held at the Headquarters of the Western Diocese on Saturday, December 26. Having presided over the meeting, the Primate encouraged the youth to further develop youth-oriented missions and programs. Deacon Artak Khachikyan also participated in the meeting.

Missions that had been discussed earlier at the 67th Annual ACYO Convention were rehashed amongst which included the 100 Steps Program, a mission and an in-depth program aimed at strengthening the bond between the ACYO and the parishes of the Western Diocese and ACYO visitations to parishes as well as mission chapters. Archbishop Derderian also informed the youth about the European ACYO convention which was held in Milan, Italy in mid-December wherein delegates throughout Europe had gathered to finalize administrative matters pertinent to the European chapters of the pan-ACYO.  

In addition to making the highly successful ACYO Alumni Gala into an annual event and revamping the ACYO-WD website, other matters such as summer internships at the Diocesan Headquarters were also discussed.

In the evening, the Primate hosted a fellowship for the youth at his residence.
