ABMDR Leadership Visits the Western Diocese

On July 7, 2016, members of the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR) Board of Directors led by Frieda Jordan, Ph.D., President, visited the Primate at the Western Diocese. The ABMDR leadership congratulated the Primate on obtaining the vote of confidence at the 89th Annual Diocesan Assembly and expressed their keen desire to further solidify the collaboration between the two institutions.

Welcoming their presence, the Primate commended their dedication to the mission and pledged his full support of the God-pleasing mission of the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry.

Dr. Frieda Jordan briefed the Primate on the First Annual Cancer Awareness Symposium organized by the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry. The symposium will be held on September 17, 2016 and will be open to the public. Dr. Jordan also expressed her gratitude to the Primate for his continued support.

Thanks to the generosity of our bone marrow donors, benefactors, and volunteers, the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry helps to save lives across the globe. Since its inception, the registry has over 28,000 donors in 28 countries across four continents, 3510 patient inquiries and has completed 26 bone marrow transplants.
