Primate Attends Fundraiser Benefitting St. John Garabed Armenian Church In San Diego

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, the Primate of the Western Diocese and the Interim Parish Council of St. John Garabed Armenian Church of San Diego attended a very special fund raising event at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John and Cynthia Andonian on Sunday, July 31, 2016.  
 
During the event, His Eminence introduced the Rev. Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan, the newly appointed Parish Priest of San John Garabed of San Diego to the community.  Also in attendance was the Very Reverend Fr. Pakrad Berjekian, Vicar General of the Western Diocese who had served as interim Parish Pastor of St. John Garabed during the transitional period.  

Archbishop Derderian called upon the faithful to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Armenian Apostolic Church with unrelenting dedication and enduring affection. In recognition of their cordial hospitality Archbishop Derderian presented the hosts John and Cynthia Andonian, and with memorable gifts. Dr. Vahram Biricik, the Interim Parish Council Chairman was also recognized at the event.
