Ladies Society Central Council Visit St. John Garabed Church Of San Diego

LSCC chairlady Lena Simonian, along with Ramella Serobyan and Aida Askejian visited with Ladies Society members of St. John Garabed on Thursday November 10^th.  They were warmly greeted by Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan, newly assigned pastor, and Mrs. Nona Hagopyan, the newly assigned LS chairlady.

The purpose of the visitation was to extend LSCC’s guidance and support for the newly re-established Ladies Society chapter.  Fr. Nerses has worked diligently with positive results to form a new executive board consisting of 11 members, and 36 LS members in total; a very impressive and positive outcome.  Discussion topics included cultivating returning and new members, By-laws, fund raising venues, Saturday and Sunday Schools, and inclusion of the larger community into the church. 

LSCC members were treated with a delicious luncheon, and later accompanied by Fr. Nerses’s wonderful parents for group photograph in the sanctuary and concluded with very warm fellowship.

LSCC congratulates Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan and St. John Ladies Society members for their newly established but very accomplished efforts to join together for the glorification of St. John Garabed church.
