Mr. And Mrs. Arsen Danielian Host Community Leadership Dinner In Support Of Glendale Adventist Medical Center

A community leadership dinner, held under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church and Mexico, was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Arsen and Hasmik Danielian on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.

The Primate attended the event accompanied by the Very Rev. Fr. Pakrad Dz. V. Berjekian, Vicar General of the Western Diocese.

In his invocation, the Primate commended the initiative of Mr. and Mrs. Arsen Danielian in improving the lives of those who have been impacted by cancer.

“Almighty God,

You have blessed us all with Your divine wisdom and love and have entrusted each and every one of us to become Your extended hands in the life of the world.

Today, we are called to celebrate the dedication of all those who have been partners in the mission of Glendale Adventist Medical Center. In particular, we cherish the services of Mr. and Mrs. Arsen and Hasmik Danielians, whose support for Glendale Adventist Medical Center is visible and vital.

We truly honor them and extend to them our gratitude.

O God illuminate us all with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and bless all those who give most generously for the expansion of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center.

We remember in our prayer specially the visionary founding fathers of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center and present Board members, doctors, nurses and all those who have become ambassadors of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center.

This noble institution has been and continues to be a blessing in our community.

God calls on us to be engaged in the mission of Glendale Adventist Medical Center in every way possible, for the hospital in the heart of Glendale has prolonged and saved the lives of countless patients and graced the lives of our community members with spiritual joy.

Held at the Oakmont Country Club, the event was in support of Glendale Adventist Medical Center and the acquisition of a new Linear Accelerator – the latest in radiation treatment technology.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the Glendale area. Prevention, early intervention and treatment of this disease are urgently needed. President and CEO of Glendale Adventist Medical Center Kevin Roberts stated “Based upon our current patient statistics, we calculate that within the first twelve months of operation at GAMC, the medical staff will conduct over 10,000 procedures to patients who live or work in our immediate service area.” Referencing to the impact of the new linear accelerator, Mr. Roberts said “Just imagine how many families will be kept whole by this advancement in our fight against the many faces of cancer.”

The Vicar General delivered the benediction.
