Oriental Orthodox Church Leaders’ Meeting

Spiritual leaders of the Armenian Apostolic, Coptic Orthodox and Syriac Orthodox Churches met on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Holy Martyrs Armenian Church in Irvine.

Following a prayer service, the leaders discussed the organization of a joint prayer service on September 14, 2017 for the martyred Christians of the Middle East.

The spiritual leaders in attendance were H.E. Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, His Grace Bishop Serapion of the Coptic Orthodox Church and H. E. Eugene Kaplan of the Syriac Orthodox Church.

The Diocesan Vicar General the Very Rev. Fr. Pakrad Dz. V. Berjekian and the Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian also participated in the meeting.
