On January 22, 2017, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral. Assisting Archbishop Hovnan Derderian at the Holy Altar were the Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan and the Rev. Fr. Avedis Abovian, both graduates of the Stewardship Program.
At the conclusion of the service, the Primate called to the Holy Altar all clergymen who had been beneficiaries of the Stewardship Program and invited them to share few thoughts about the Sacred Order of the Priesthood.
The service was followed by a light reception at the Paul Brothers Galleria where the faithful met the Primate and the clergymen.
