The RECLAIM Conference is bringing together the young and the old to further engage with their faith in an ever-changing world. Sponsored and hosted by the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church, the three-day conference features a number of presentations, workshops and speakers that challenge participants to explore, learn, exchange ideas.
“We are inviting individuals for whom matters of the soul and spirit are essential. We want to present the Armenian Church as a viable source for spiritual nourishment,” says Fr. Vazken Movsesian, Conference Spiritual Advisor. “All conference events – classes, meditations, service-project, worship services, morning hike, art projects provide the necessary spiritual tools to move from the secular to the sacred; to find comfort, strength and courage to live the Christian life.” The three-day format for this conference offers time for instruction, expression, introspection, artistic exploration and fellowship.
Conference activities begin on Friday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m. PT. At the start of the conference, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian will welcome conference attendees to the Western Diocese complex in Burbank. Fr. Vazken Movsesian will give the keynote address: “Christ’s Power of Love in a Violent & Intolerant World.”

Space is limited on a first-come-first serve basis. The cost for three-days is $175, which includes admission to all events, meals and conference materials. Scholarships and grants are available from your local parish.

RECLAIM: Embracing Our Faith, in a Changing World Conference is aimed at youth 18 to 35, young professionals, young families and the community at large, giving them an opportunity to “Reclaim” an ancient faith in the world today. Timed during the Lenten Season, this conference offers participants an opportunity to grow spiritually and find peace that comes from faith in Jesus Christ.
