The 5th anniversary celebration of the Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the prestigious Taglyan Cultural Center in the heart of Hollywood.
During the appreciation dinner organized by the Scholarship Fund last month, the Primate said “The youth needs guidance and understanding, but above all, practical help. Therefore, it is our obligation to provide our youth with scholarship opportunities, connections, networking, access to land dream jobs, thus becoming part of their success,” said Archbishop Derderian in part. “Together we will work harder to ensure the growth of scholarship. This is our common vision and our goal.”
About the Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund
The Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund is established on the conviction that each and every Armenian student is entitled to an Armenian education within an Armenian school. The Fund is dedicated to helping Armenian students in financial need through a scholarship and financial assistance program who intend to continue their studies in an Armenian school.

Since its inception five years ago, the Abp. Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund has raised and provided over $130,000 in the form of scholarships to local Armenian Schools.
