Armenian School Students Receive Holy Communion

As we prepare to celebrate the Triumphant Entry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into the Holy City of Jerusalem and fill our hearts with the sanctity of His Victorious Resurrection, the necessity to cater to the religious and spiritual needs of the community’s youth becomes vital.

On April 7, 2017, the Very Rev. Fr. Vazken Movsesian, accompanied by Dn. Hayk Tigranian visited the students of Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School and AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian School. The priest explained to the students the significance of Holy Communion in the life of each Christian after which The Eucharist, the sacrament of the Lord’s Body and Blood, was distributed to the students.

Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian, the Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan and the Rev. Fr. Serovbe Alanjian visited the students of AGBU Manoogian Demirdjian School where they distributed Holy Communion to the students following a homily.
