Mr. Sevag Derderian will begin to schedule visits to Diocesan parishes with an ambitious goal to complete a tour of all parishes by November 2017. At each parish visit, Derderian will celebrate the Divine Liturgy with the church choir, discuss the role of the AACCWD, her mission, music education programs, digital music library, support for building junior choir programs, soon to be introduced music curriculum, and Father Arshag Khatchadourian Music Scholarship Fund.
Meetings will take place with each respective church choir to discuss their intra-structural needs, resource materials, recruitment efforts, and training programs. A detailed monthly schedule will be published as well as continuous updates online at www.aaccwd.com.
His efforts will culminate with a revitalized AACCWD Convention & Assembly Meeting in November 2017.
