The Diocesan Primate Archbishop Derderian visited the students of Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School on September 6, 2017, marking His Eminence’s first visit to the school in the new academic year. Archbishop Derderian’s message to the students was that of love toward God and commitment to education.

A day prior, the Diocese welcomed the Hovsepian School’s Board of Trustees who held their first meeting of the year at the Western Diocese. The practice of convening the first board meeting at the Western Diocese has become an established tradition. The Primate commended the school board’s commitment to preserving the Christian Faith, the Armenian language, culture, traditions but above all the Armenian identity. His Eminence was briefed on the school’s upcoming events and activities.
