Through ECF's Kindergarten Project, the dilapidated roof of No. 5 Kindergarten of Jambarak (Gegharkunik region) is being completely renovated.
The $10,000 project is expected to be completed by October 15th, before the rainy season.
Jambarak is only 1 kilometer away from the Azerbaijani border. The geographic location, harsh weather, and the economic hardship make the residents of this isolated town one of the most vulnerable communities in Armenia.
In partnership with the Diocese of Gegharkunik and the local municipality, we hope to begin the second phase of the construction in 2018 by installing new windows and doors for the entire building.
