On October 27, students of Ferrahian Armenian School, Armenian Mesrobian School, AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School, C & E Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School, Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School and Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School visited the Headquarters of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church in Burbank. The youth were welcomed by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
Students of the Armen Tigranyan Music School delighted the young audience with their wonderful renditions of religious and folkloric Armenian songs.
The students also took part in a question and answer session with the Pontiff of the Armenian Church where one or two students from each school posed questions for His Holiness related to the history, stance and future of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
In his inspirational message to the youth, the Catholicos of All Armenians encouraged them to further pursue their educational goals and to renew their commitment to service, thus encouraging the future leaders of tomorrow to preserve and cherish their Christian identity.
