On November 17, 2017, the Diocese welcomed the Prime Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic His Excellency Ara Harutyunyan. Prime Minister Harutyunyan was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh, and His Excellency Robert Avetisyan, NKR representative in Washington, DC.
The esteemed guests were greeted at the Diocesan entrance by the Primate, the Diocesan Council Chairman Joseph Kanimian Esq., members of the Diocesan Council, Diocesan clergy and benefactors.
A luncheon was held at the Hampar Family Room under the patronage of the Cathedral’s Grand Benefactor Dr. Aramayis Paronyan.Â
