Team Alex Toy Drive At The Western Diocese

A memorable toy-drive organized by Team Alex to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles was held at the Turpanjian Plaza of the Western Diocese on Sunday, December 10, 2017 following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. 

Everyone was in a joyful mood following the service as hundreds took part in the festive toy drive benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Held under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and organized by Team Alex, the memorable event drew a crowd of nearly seven hundred who flocked the Turpanjian Plaza of the Western Diocese to laugh, play and enjoy each other’s company. The toy drive included plenty of food, music, fun, and entertainment for the whole family.

Surprising the crowd with a roaring appearance were the members of the Hye Riders Motorcycle Club who drove up to St. Leon Cathedral in their awesome bikes with wrapped toys. The Hye Riders donated a truck load of toys to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The memorable toy-drive put everyone was in the Christmas spirit as they departed the Diocese filled with Christmas joy and cheer.
