Primate Pays Pastoral Visit To St. John Armenian Church Of San Francisco

On January 19, 2018, the Diocesan Primate, accompanied by Dn. Harout Markarian, Executive Director of the Western Diocese travelled to Northern California where they visited St. John Armenian Church of San Francisco. The Primate met with the Rev. Fr. Mesrop Ash, the Parish Priest and the members of the St. John ACYO.

His Eminence encouraged the youth to be steadfast in their ancestral Christian Faith, calling upon them to renew their committed service to the Armenian Apostolic Church through the Pan-ACYO pilgrimage to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in July. Archbishop Derderian encouraged the youth to continue to stand by and support Fr. Mesrop in carrying out the God-pleasing mission of St. John Armenian Church by spreading the light of the Gospel of Christ, our Lord and becoming the Hands of the Almighty in their community.
